FOXBORO – It was a 2009 division win on Day 2 of the 2024 Jr. Chowder Cup for City Wide Selects as they defeated Prep Prospects AAA 4-2 on Friday afternoon at the Foxboro Sports Center.
City Wide got the better of Prep in the game and in each half. A 2-1 score in the first equaled by a 2-1 score in the second to bring about the 4-2 final.
All four City Wide goals came from a different scorer, with Sam McSherry and Owen Gahan the only ones credited with multiple point in the winning effort. Each were credited with a goal and an assist.
Liam Blair and Justin Yamamoto were credited with the goals for Prep Prospects.
