FOXBORO – EHG ’05 started their stint at the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup with a win on Thursday. They defeated Next Level Hockey 3-1 at the Foxboro Sports Center.
It was a tight affair throughout. There was just one goal managed between the two sides in the first half, a Joseph Delaurentis goal for EHG at 20:25.
Luke Marely drew Next Level back to even with his score in the second, but Marcel Lavitman came back with a goal just over a minute later to re-establish EHG’s lead. And it was a lead EHG did not relinquish.
Matt Montoni made it 3-1 later in the latter frame, while Nick Mele capped off the win in EHG net.
