WALPOLE – With a second half rally, Next Stage Hockey defeated Pinnacle Hockey on Saturday afternoon at the Cadillac Arena in Walpole. The 4-1 victory came in 2008 Elite division play on Day 3 of the 2024 Jr. Chowder Cup.
Pinnacle set the tone with a Jack Thompson goal early in the first, giving them a 1-0 lead they carried into the halftime intermission.
Out of the break, Next Stage took the next step forward. Their offense awoke for four in the latter frame, getting goals from Coulter Nowakowski, Chris Guli – on the power play – Nolan Hutchinson and Kevin Shi to round out the win.
Next Stage netminder Marcus Cruz-D-Annunzio was credited with his second win of the tournament in the victory.
