Power Hockey dominant in Friday evening win.

FOXBORO – It was a nearly perfect performance for Power Hockey Academy as they took to the ice on Friday night at the Foxboro Sports Center. They decimated Power Play Black 10-1, running their ’02 division record at the 2018 Jr. Chowder Cup to 2-0-0.

It was fives across the board for the Academy, striking for just shy of a half dozen in each of the game’s 25-minute halves. Nicolas Paolucci and Keagan Johnston were responsible for the first half damage. Paolucci netting three and Johnston a pair.

Production was similar in the second half for Power Hockey. Johnston netted another pair, while Ayrton Martino, Alex Frechette and Vincent Fera each netted a goal of their own to account for their side’s five in the frame.

The lone blemish coming to Power Hockey and netminder Will Nguyen credit was a first half goal scored by Matthew Warnecke and assisted on by Dean Rocco and Ryan Cielo.

In total, seven different Academy skaters were credited with points on the score sheet, six of which had multiple entries. Johnston (4G) and Paolucci (3G, 1A) paced things with four points apiece. Frechette (1G, 2A) followed with three points to his credit. Fera (1G, 1A), Martino (1G, 1A) and Kyle Jackson (2A) each finished credited with two.
