ATTLEBORO – It could not have been a much finer start to the 2025 Jr. Chowder Cup for Team Real Speed. They opened their ’09 Elite slate with a dominant 11-0 win over Little Rhody Hockey on Thursday afternoon at New England Sports Village.
Early and often came the goals for Real Speed. The scoring kicked off with a Gus Lambert goal at 3:23 of the opening half. It was the first of seven tallies in the frame.
Despite the comfortable cushion, Real Speed kicked in four more in the second half while goaltender Jacob Su kept everything out of the net to complete the 11-0 victory.
There were 15 different Real Speed skaters that made their way onto the scoresheet. Cole Cournoyer (2G, 1A), Griffan Godin (1G, 2A), Mateo Gil (1G, 2A) and Beau Blakley (3A) chief among them, each registering three points in the contest.
Preston Sullivan (2G), Harry Catalano (1G, 1A), Conor Prunier (1G, 1A), Jacob Allaire (1G, 1A) and Brooks Lytle (2A) also had multiple points for the victors.
