Alpha gets going at the start with 8-0 victory.

FOXBORO – With hopes that their omega does not come until Sunday afternoon, Alpha Hockey started off their 2023 Jr. Chowder Cup quest with an 8-0 victory. They defeated RSG Selects on Thursday afternoon at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Alpha hammer RSG from the start, putting the game away when the stuck out to a 6-0 lead through the game’s opening half.

Things were wrapped up by the second, but Alpha made sure with another pair of goals – one each from Nick Radich and Jace Sebert – and continued shutout performance in net from Cale Raifle to close out the 8-0 victory.

Two points led the night with Radich (2G), Sabert (1G, 1A), Bradley Backen (1G, 1A), Colin Dustin (1G, 1A), Alek Ericksen (1G, 1A) and Alex Cleary (2A) all posting multiple entries on the scoresheet.
