Ohio Prospects put away Reider Hockey Thursday in Attleboro.

ATTLEBORO – It was an emphasizing start for the Ohio Prospects at the 2023 Jr. Chowder Cup. They defeated Reider Hockey 5-1 in 2007 division play on Thursday evening at the New England Sports Village.

While netminder Connor Mould went to work on the backend shutting down everything Reider threw at their net, the Ohio offense did their job on the other end of the ice. They put away a pair – one each from Tate Rook and Bryan Shaw, Jr. – to send the game to the break with the Prospects up 2-0.

Reider did get on the scoreboard with an Adrian Bonspille goal in the second, but there were three Ohio goals to be scored as well in the game’s latter half. Owen Everhart and Jake Hufstedler twice in the second to capitalize the 5-1 win.
