CANTON – FCA Hockey’s stay at the 2025 Jr. Chowder Cup came to a close on Saturday afternoon, but they finished on their highest note. They posted their first win of the tournament by virtue of a 4-2 decision over Valor Hockey Group in 2009 division play at the Canton Ice House.
Quick work was made as FCA came out and dominated in the first half. They ran up a 3-0 cushion by the intermission on goals from Parker Home, Drew Lecce and Cade Zoerink.
Valor netted a pair out of the break to get close, but they could never catch or surpass FCA. A goal from Matthew Cureton at 6:05 of the second gave FCA enough to secure the 4-2 win.
