CANTON – If it is to be their only win at the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup, the PAL Jr. Islanders made it a good one on Saturday at the Canton Ice House. They shutout My Edge Hockey 6-0 in ’06 division play.
Though their two goals in the first half – scores from Georgii Tokarskii and Bobby Trites – were more than enough, the Isles did even more damage in the game’s second half. They scored four more times for a 6-0 victory.
In total eight Islander skaters were credited with a point in the contest, five of them with multiple: Tokarskii (1G, 1A), Trites (1G, 1A), Alec Hall (1G, 1A), Ajani Sams (1G, 1A) and Connor Cohen.
Jayson Krauthamer was the goaltender of record for PAL, posting the clean sheet.
