Team Undisputed saves best for last.

ATTLEBORO – Team Undisputed’s stay at the 2019 Bob Crocker Jr. Chowder Cup came to a close on Saturday night at the New England Sports Village. And in that close, Undisputed saved their best for last, notching their first win of the tournament via a 3-1 victory over the Connecticut Whale.

Undisputed came out heavy handed, waiting little time to grab the lead as Michael Gallagher scored just 40-seconds into the contest to make it 1-0. The Whale, however, did tie the score back up on a goal by Kyle Jayson to make sure the game was 1-1 come the intermission break.

They waited until their final game to secure their first win, and Undisputed waited until their final period to cement that victory. It was in the second half against the Whale they pulled away. Scores by Will O’Brien and Robbie Young staked Undisputed a two-goal advantage, while netminder Kevin Richardi kept every Whale attempt in the half out of the Undisputed net to preserve that advantage.

Team Undisputed took home the 3-1 win.
