ATTLEBORO – After falling to Arsenal Hockey in their tournament opener, the Eels (Grey) rallied for a victory in their second game of the 2024 Jr. Chowder Cup. They defeated Little Rhody/DMV Hockey 4-2 in 2008 division play on Friday afternoon at the New England Sports Village.
Both sides got on the board early, but a Paxton Campbell gave the Eels a 2-1 lead heading into the halftime intermission.
The second goal of the game from Jackson Guy came early in the second and extended the Eels’ lead to 3-1. The second goal of the game from Logan Reich brought Little Rhody back into within one at 3-2 with about five minutes remaining in the contest.
Little Rhody got no closer after Reich’s second. Parker Henderson put away the empty netter in the game’s final minute to solidify the Eels 4-2 win.
