ROCKLAND – SC United rode a first half offensive explosion when they defeated RAD Elite (White) 6-1 on Saturday at the 2023 Jr. Chowder Cup.
Five times SC struck in the first to open their overwhelming lead. All five goals came from a different scorer as United took a 5-0 lead into the break.
Out of the intermission, it was an even second half, played 1-1. RAD finally got on the board with a Ryland Cooke goal, but was equaled by a Matteo Russo score that rounded out the 6-1 final.
Laydan Anderson led the United offense with a three-point contest, credited with a goal and two assists.
Fisher Rogers was credited with the win in the SC net.
