FOXBORO – The final day of pool play at the 2022 Jr. Chowder Cup got underway on Saturday morning and SDP Hockey kicked it off with a sizeable win at the Foxboro Sports Center. They defeated NorthStar Elite 7-1.
It was a relatively low scoring affair in the first when compared to the final goal total. SDP struck for two, Cameron Peltz and Lane Glende making it a 2-0 halftime lead.
Goal scoring turned up in the second as the SDP offense exploded for five in the frame. Nathaniel Thomas, Eli Molde, Balkins Oscar, Lewis Majkozak and Jacob Kvasnicka with the goals. Noah Grundahl also scored for NorthStar to round out the 7-1 final.
