Florida goes double on Boston, 6-3.

ROCKLAND – There was no sleepy rust on the Florida Alliance when they took to the ice at Lovell Arena early on Saturday morning. They defeated Boston Hockey Club 6-3.

Boston struck first when Jack Welby opened the game’s scoring, but Florida going things going as the first half went along. There was an equalizer from Sean Campbell and then Hayden Hutner put Florida in the lead 2-1 with less than two minutes to play before the halftime intermission.

That lead eventually grew to 5-1 before Boston made a move with just under five minutes to play in the contest. Welby put away their second and Logan Venne scored as well to make it a two-goal game, but Hutner solidified things with an empty netter with under a minute to play, rounding out the 6-3 final.
