Hockey Club Elite post 7-4 win over EHG.

WALPOLE – Hockey Club Elite avenged a tournament opening lost on Thursday with a 2025 Jr. Chowder Cup win on Friday evening. They defeated EHG 7-4 in ’09 Elite division play at Cadillac Arena in Walpole.

It did not take long for Hockey Club to get going on their quest to victory. They leapt out to a 3-0 lead early in the first on a pair of goals from Nathan Fournier and one from Maddox Cross.

EHG stemmed the tide of Hockey Club’s first half assault with a goal from Josh Mosbacher near the middle of the period, but Dylan Van Spronsen scored late in the frame to restore the three-goal advantage at 4-1 heading into the break.

The goals kept coming in the second as the two sides went back and forth throughout the latter frame. EHG hung close, but they were never able to get closer that two before Linden Beal and the Hockey Club defense closed the door to solidify the 7-4 victory.

Fournier had an assist to go along with his two first half goals to finish with a game-high three points (2G, 1A). Brice Glanz (2A) also had multiple points for the victors.

Ethan Moore (1G, 1A), Michael Suarez (1G, 1A) and Michael DeGaray (2A) all had multipoint showing for EHG.
