Whalers move to 2-0-0 with win over TSH.

ATTLEBORO – The Boston Jr. Whalers made it two wins in two games at the 2025 Jr. Chowder Cup on Friday evening. Their second victory of the tournament coming by virtue of a 5-0 decision over TSH Selects in 2010 division play at the New England Sports Village.

It was a close contest through the first half. Boston held only a slim 1-0 margin at the intermission courtesy of a Tomas Figura goal.

Things got going for the Boston offense in the second, but their foes were not as fortunate. After putting up three in their tournament opener on Thursday, Declan Foley and the TSH offense struggled to find their footing against the Whalers and solve the riddle that was Boston netminder Tyson Moreland.

Four times in the latter frame, the Whalers lit the lamp, while Moreland kept TSH at bay to complete the 5-0 shutout.

A trio of Whalers went for multiple points in their victorious effort. Liam Bartlett (2G), Ryan Goodrich (1G, 1A) and Cooper Cote (1G, 1A) leading the charge.
