FOXBORO – To notch their first win of the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup, Boston Hockey Club Black doubled up New Country Speed in a 4-2 victory at the Foxboro Sports Center.
New Country scored first – a James Chase goal at 12:31 of the first half – but it was Boston that ended the opening frame with the lead courtesy of goals from Hagens James and Will Felecio (PP).
Dennis Davidson made it a two-goal advantage for Boston when the teams returned to the ice for the second. Chase got New Country back to within one with his score at 16:58, but a goal from Reid Finster in the closing minutes closed out the 4-2 victory.
Goaltender Jack Parsons was credited with the win for Boston Hockey Club.
