ATTLEBORO – Early in the opening day of the 2025 Jr. Chowder Cup on Thursday morning, Mobile Hockey Development (White) and TSH Selects AAA 2010 met for a ’10 division match-up at the New England Sports Village. A defensive first gave way to an offensive second that resulted in a 4-3 Mobile win.
Goals came at a premium in the game’s opening half. Mobile netminder Eli Hill and TSH counterpart Santiago Munoz keeping their goals on lockdown. Only once in the first did either goaltender blink. A Mobile goal credited to Chase Thomas the only mark of the period.
The script flipped out of the intermission as the goals started to pour in. Thomas scored a second and then Declan Lyons added one for Mobile as well to give them a three-goal lead.
Cole Mason and Sean Lyon each scored for TSH to cut their deficit to 3-2 just past the midway point of the latter half, but the rally was halted on a Liam Murray goal that made it 4-2.
Declan Foley had TSH back to within one with a goal coming with just over three minutes remaining, but they did not get any closer. Hill and the Mobile defense held on to preserve the 4-3 victory.
