BRAINTREE – TSH Selects (Red) earned a 2024 Jr. Chowder Cup Day 2 victory on Friday morning. They did so by shutting out Team Kanaly 3-0 at the Thayer Sports Center.
Little time was wasted by TSH in their quest for victory, piling up all their goals in the game’s opening half. Henry Rademacher, Rhys Schumacher and Andrew Borchers coming through to set about the 3-0 halftime lead.
With the offense taken care of in the first, defense became the focus in the second. Led by goaltender Bruce Laronde – who was credited with the shutout victory – TSH continued to turn aside all Kanaly sent their way, preserving the shutout and the 3-0 victory.
Schumacher and Borchers each had a goal and an assist in the TSH effort.
